After receiving her education in business and marketing from Utah State and the University of Colorado, Tresa began her career in 1980 as a municipal bond trader and underwriter for Boettcher & Company, a regional brokerage firm in Denver Colorado. She began working with individual investors in 1989, earning her Certified Financial Planner designation in 1990.
Tresa served for seven years as Regional Sales Manager for First Security Investor Services, later purchased by Wells Fargo Investment Services, where she supervised financial consultants in Idaho and Oregon. She was promoted to Wealth Management Specialist, heading up a team of private bankers, trust officers, investment managers and financial planners responsible for creating and implementing financial planning and investment strategies for high net worth individuals.
Tresa maintains the General Securities Registration (Series 7), the Uniform Securities Agent License (Series 63) the Registered Investment Advisor (Series 65) and state Life Insurance licenses.
While growing in her financial career, Tresa was studying psychology and personal growth from many success experts including Jack Canfield, Harv Eker, Anthony Robbins, Wayne Dyer, and numerous professional coaches. She completed a year long program to become a Certified Canfield Trainer of The Success Principles. She is also a Certified Facilitator of the RIM process (Regenerating Images in Memory), a gentle process taught by Dr. Deborah Sandella of The RIM Institute, designed to help people overcome stress and limiting beliefs.
